Invention of Online shopping and WWW
Online shopping was invented by Michael Aldrich in 1979. He connected a modified domestic TV to a computer using a telephone line, which allowed him to take orders and transmit them to a shop's computer. This is considered the first known example of online shopping.
The World Wide Web (WWW) was invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 while working at CERN, the European physics research organization. Berners-Lee developed the first web browser and server, and created the first website, which provided information about the World Wide Web project.
